SANTE Wellness Center is a holistic healing and retreat center - a place where alternative and complimentary treatment modalities, as well as expressive arts are all offered under one roof. At SANTE, we hold the belief that all the resources we will ever need for abundant health and well-being are within us or within our reach. At Sante, healers work collaboratively to treat each client as a whole person, respectful of mind, body, and spirit. Our intimate wellness center is situated in a beautiful suburban setting on a quiet cul-de-sac in Silver Spring, Maryland. Indoor and outdoor activities are conducted in quiet, beauty, and peace. Indoor features include pleasantly appointed treatment rooms, comfortable seating areas, wood fireplace, full kitchen, and a large open classroom space. Outdoor features include a spacious quiet yard, gardens, deck, and fire circle. Sante Wellness Center is a work in progress, continually unfolding and expanding. With the help of our friends, we intend to create a wonderful peace garden with walking trails, a labyrinth for walking meditations, a screened gazebo, and a large patio for outdoor gatherings, as well as a scholarship fund for those with need. Future development will also include solar panels and other adaptations to reduce environmental impact. Any donations you feel inspired to contribute can be applied to general start-up costs or to specific projects which appeal to your own aspirations and desires -- whether they be to meditate while walking the labyrinth, to commune with Spirit in the Peace Garden, or to explore health or metaphysics with your fellows aspirants in an outdoor setting in the screened gazebo. Gifts of $1 to $499 will be added to the general start-up fund. Gifts of $500 to $13,000 (the maximum nontaxable gift allowed by the IRS) will be dedicated toward specific purpose, and the donors will be honored for their contributions with small plaques or suitable markers. Checks or money orders may be made payable to Sante Wellness Center. Please be aware that Sante does not have status as a nonprofit organization and, therefore, gifts will not be tax deductible. The largeness of this project and the potential that it holds to serve so many have truly impressed upon us the importance of community and openness to our resources. Any and all gifts from within our community of friends and family will be appreciated. Those who do not wish or are unable to contribute monetarily may have other "gifts" to offer or are asked simply to offer prayers and positive thoughts.
